So... this club has kind of been shoved into a corner and forgotten. Sorry about that! The founders all grew up and went to college! Haha. My apologies for the inactivity. About the Loser Club
The Loser Club started over four years ago, and lasted for about two years with some pretty loser-y contests, etc. We used to have some rules, like you have to be a girl in high school, like anime, etc. But I'm going to throw all that out the window and say, if you think you're loser material, feel free to join!
How to join
Send us a note if you are interested...and we ask you to watch us to get all the updates. It doesn't matter what kind of art you like to do...we accept anything!
How to Submit Art
As you may have noticed, our gallery is pretty...empty. We're busy people, but we figured that if we started having people submit art for us, we'd get more participation from our members. So, if you're a new or old member, please send us a note with a link. It can be anything, including written work, but we do have one rule: please no slash, yaoi, yuri, porn, sex, etc.. You may submit as many as you want.

We used to hold contests every now and again, but as we've been rather inactive, it hasn't happened in a while. Let us know if you'd like to start something up!

Only a couple more weeks until this contest ends, and we only have one entry! We know everyone's busy, but please participate if you can.

FALL CONTEST TIME
Begins: September 1st
End: November 30th by midnight
Content: Fanart of choice including books, movies, games, tv shows, whatever just specify.
Rules: all previous rules apply, including colored submissions only (unless it is a written fanfiction--which we want to see)
Submitting: send us a link via note and we'll take it from there
Placement and Prizes: The founders will judge and choose the favorite three from all of the submissions entered. Prizes are same as always, and will be issued through notes:
1st: three colored pictures of choice from each of the founders
2nd: two colored pictures of choice from founders of choice
3rd: one colored picture of choice from founder of choice
The fanart theme will apply to prizes as well this time around.

Sorry we haven't been around much in the past...year or so...it's been crazy. Well, sort of. Mostly we're just lazy. Give us a break, it is the loser club after all.

About the Loser Club
The Loser Club is a place for girls* who may not have everything we want...and are considered "losers" by the high school standard, but we really don't care what others think. This was created on a cold fall night at a football game...Three desperately loser-material girls (in band...o.O...one of them isn't a dA member...) decided we shouldn't be ashamed of our lowliness! Slowly, we introduced our friends at school to it...and collected several members who probably have completely forgotten about it. So now it's an online thing.

Contests
We try to hold contests at monthly intervals. These sometimes pertain to the season or holiday during that month (ex. December = X-mas), but sometimes we'll have longer ones. We may judge on creativity, completeness, color/shading, etc. depending on the topic. If we have enough entries, we may let members vote. Since we're not particularly wealthy, we can't offer prints or subscriptions as prizes, so we award art. Yeah...it seems pathetic, but hey, we are losers.
